Life’s Storms

Life’s Storms

January roars into life, wind swept, rain lashing
Black skies explode in a thunder of noise crashing
Stormy gales batter the fabric of mans defences
Blowing over huge trees, tearing up garden fences
Contorted shapes lurk in the shadows of this day
Precarious life revealed when even rooftops sway
A reminder that I am only the tiniest fragile being
Safe in the sight of my creator God’s ever seeing
Held in his hands never adrift from his loving care
Despite life’s storms, his presence is always there

Love the poem Father, yes, is just like that here. Leaden skies high winds and the promise of snow.
Canon is fine, recovered well after the busy time at Christmas he sends you his kindest regards.
Blessings and prayers,
Ann.

Hi Ann, The weather was pretty horrible but not too much damage one small tree blown over in the garden but apart from that all well!

Recovering after Christmas is important and a slow affair! Hope the Canon can take it easy for a few weeks. I have booked this years holidays so happy!

Blessings as always

Fr Patrick
